Rob Wolf, the host of New Books in Science Fiction and Fantasy, has loved speculative literature since he was a kid growing up in the Midwest. He is the author of the Khronos Chronicles, the story of a gay teenager in search of a time-traveling father. Although he now spends much of his time writing fiction and interviewing other authors, he’s had first-hand experience in a wide range of jobs: librarian’s assistant, waiter, customer service rep, paralegal for the Legal Services Corporation. As a reporter, he covered the health and science beat for the The Staten Island Advance. And for the last 15 years, he’s produced podcasts, videos, articles, and monographs for the Center for Court Innovation, a non-profit dedicated to improving the justice system.
Wolf’s writing has appeared in varied publications, including The New York Times, OutWeek, Vegetarian Times, Time Out New York, The Justice System Journal, National Black Law Journal, the International Review of Law Computers & Technology, and the literary journal Thema. His work has been recognized by the New York Public Library, The Missouri Review, and the National Council on Crime and Delinquency.
